See the Markups
We’re here to expose the truth behind America’s broken pharmaceutical pricing system and help you find affordable alternatives.
Every day, millions of Americans face an impossible choice: buy life-saving medications or pay rent. This isn’t happening by accident — it’s the result of a system designed to maximize profits at the expense of human lives.
We believe everyone deserves to know the truth about what they’re paying for.
We expose the real costs behind drug manufacturing and reveal the shocking markups.
We connect patients with affordable alternatives and assistance programs.
All our research is backed by public records, industry reports, and verified sources.
We track political influence and hold lawmakers accountable for their votes on drug pricing.
The personal story behind the mission
I’m a freshman at the Mays Business School at Texas A&M, deeply passionate about healthcare reform and economic justice. I started this project because I’ve witnessed firsthand how families in the U.S. are crushed by the outrageous costs of life-saving medications like insulin—drugs that are available for a fraction of the price in other countries.
My motivation comes from seeing hardworking Americans struggle to afford lifesaving medication even though America is the richest country in the world. It made me question why the same drugs cost 10x more here than abroad, and why there’s so little public outrage. I realized that exposing these injustices through content and research could be my way of making a real impact.
My vision is to build a platform that educates everyday people, influences policy discussions, and brings transparency to a system that has long favored profit over lives. Through social media, storytelling, and data, I want to spark a movement demanding fair and affordable access to medicine for all.
